Mandarin and Inferno are two of the best lines of tangerines to bring out the best quality oranges and greens you can hope for in the leopard gecko hobby. You can’t go wrong adding these lines to your tangerine project or just having one for a new pet friend! 😀

High White is a genetic trait that comes about for 2 reasons. One, the animal is albino and black/purple/green pigment becomes white on an albino. Two, the animal is lacking any color pigment over a certain area which can result over both albinos and non albinos. Expression number 2 is less common but a unique trait for sure that we are working into clown & tangerine lines mainly to see how it expresses differently. Way #1 is much more common but as the gecko ages it will most likely lose most of it’s white. However some projects and lines have selectively bred to maintain more of these high whites even into adulthood. Red Diamond is probably the most notable line for this and our Mandarin Inferno High White lines would be great to cross into that for diversification of DNA whilst producing geckos with very high lasting whites! 😀 😀
